An “International Student” is a non-Canadian whom has obtained a “Study Permit” to attend a program at a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) within Canada.

A “Study Permit” a special permit that allows non-Canadians to stay in Canada for an approved amount of time to study at a Designated Learning Institution (DLI).
International students are required a study permit to enroll in a full-time program that is longer than six months in duration.
Applications for a study permit can be from inside or outside of Canada.
Refugee claimants and convention refugees must also obtain a study permit to attend a full-time program in Canada.

Metrocare Health Academy is an approved Designated Learning Institution (DLI #O265424309392) and can host international students.

Personal Support Worker (International Students) Fees
Admissions Administration Fee - $380
Tuition - $12,500
Deposit (req’d prior to receiving an acceptance letter) - $2,000
Remaining Tuition (scheduled according to payment plan) - $10,500
Tuition Payment Plans
Plan A: Prepaid
$10,500 (Due on Start Date)
Plan B: 1 Month Plan
2 payments of $5,250 per month
Plan C: 3 Month Plan
4 payments of $2,625 per month

Note: Any individual that does NOT meet the admission requirements of a program will not be allowed to enroll.

Start: Jan 4, 2023 - Sep 3, 2023 (Open for Applications)
Fall 2023
Start: Sep 4, 2023 - May 5, 2024

International Students on study permits are allowed to work up to 20 hours on or off Campus.
Metrocare may have some opportunities to work while you study. Please contact Rose Bacod for more information. Subject to availability and qualifications.
